Longboarding: Let Go

As you watch Kyle Chin point the nose of his skateboard down the hill, consider the similar bravery sometimes required to take on that first investment property, or to up the ante on how much income you salary sacrifice to superannuation. If these steps are old news for you, how about the next stage of sharpening up your portfolio management, setting up that additional income stream through other interests, or considering new tax structures such as Family Trusts.

Notice one thing though. As advanced as Kyle is as a skateboarder, he still wears a helmet and gloves. He understands risk. As you advance your personal finances don’t forget to review your insurances, manage your cashflow, do your investment research and calculations, and use diversification were appropriate. Consider risk management tools and structures like Wills, Testamentary Trusts and Powers of Attorney.
