Your Beliefs on Money

Identifying beliefs through feeling

Identifying feelings exercise

An exercise on identifying feelings

Write down how you are feeling right now.

Write down the feelings you believe someone who is financially insecure would have.

Write down the feelings someone who is financially free  would have.

For financial insecurity, if you wrote down words such as afraid, guilty, helpless, and similar you are identifying feelings.

If you wrote bad, look a little closer as many feelings are often considered bad, such as anxiety, frustration, helplessness and guilt.

Without being aware of how you are feeling about money and your finances, you may miss out on the opportunity to identify an undesireable belief, and in turn doing something about it.
