Home Care Package
Types of Support
Over and above the aged care services provided under a Commonwealth Home Support Programme, a Home Care Package also includes additional higher-level aged care services. For example, depending on the level of care you require, you may receive:
- More complex care in regard to allied health, nursing, and other clinical services.
- Continence management, such as disposable pads and bedpans, as well as a catheter and urinary drainage appliances.
- Mobility and dexterity aids (and, assistance with their use), such as walking frames, walking sticks, mechanical devices for lifting, bed rails, and slide sheets.
