Costs
- An income-tested care fee. This is an additional fee payable and is dependent upon your level of income. There are annual and lifetime limits, indexed each year, on the amount of income-tested care fee you may be asked to pay; once you reach this limit you cannot be asked to pay any additional amount. The limits are as follows:
- The annual cap for the income-tested care fee is based on your income,
- For single persons who do not exceed the relevant income threshold (income below $63,351.60) it is $6,661.80 (from 20 March 2024).
For single persons who do exceed the relevant income threshold (income above $63,351.60) it is $13,323.68 (from 20 March 2024).
- For single persons who do not exceed the relevant income threshold (income below $63,351.60) it is $6,661.80 (from 20 March 2024).
- The lifetime cap for the income-tested care fee is $79,942.44 (from 20 March 2024).
- The annual cap for the income-tested care fee is based on your income,
- Fees for additional care or services not covered by your Home Care Package.
