It is important to note that generally you will have 56 days in which to take up the Home Care Package and enter into an agreement under the unique package referral code with an aged care service provider of your choosing.
However, in some circumstances, this may be extended by a further 28 days if you are experiencing difficulty deciding which aged care service provider you would like to care for you or you do not agree with your assessment outcome.
