Residential Aged Care Agreements

Accommodation Agreement
The Accommodation Agreement is a legal document between you and the aged care service provider that outlines the following:

  • Details of the relevant accommodation costs, as well as the three payment options that you have available to you:
    • Lump-sum style ‘refundable accommodation deposit’ (RAD)
    • Rental-type payments called a ‘daily accommodation payment’ (DAP)
    • A combination of both.
  • Other conditions that cover your accommodation payment, such as the details surrounding a refund upon your death or decision to leave the residential aged care facility.
